Attached please find general information and the rules of our hotel, which are applicable to the entire hotel environment and amend the General Terms and Conditions of the hotel.
A
AIR CONDITIONING
Your room is equipped with air conditioning during the hot season. To protect the environment, we kindly ask you to activate the air conditioning only when you are present. The room cools down quickly and gently due to the recirculation control. The system only works, when the balcony doors are closed to avoid unnecessary waste of energy. The cooling capacity is automatically regulated depending on the outside temperature.
B
BATHROBE
We would like to provide you with rental bathrobes for the duration of your stay. You can borrow them in different sizes at the reception. The final cleaning fee is EUR 10,- per bathrobe.
BEVERAGES
A wide selection of chilled drinks, e.g. mineral water, lemonades and beer to a wide selection of regional quality wines are available at the reception. You can enjoy the drinks in your room, on the balcony or in our lobby. You will also find a coin-operated vending machine with chilled drinks around the clock in the reception area.
BICYCLE CELLAR
You can store your bike in our lockable bicycle cellar during your stay. Please lock your bicycles also in the bicycle cellar with a bicycle lock and please make sure to close the door to the bicycle cellar upon leaving! We politely point out that according to general terms and conditions, as well as §§970ff AGBG we are only liable for a maximum amount of up to 1,100 EUR. We recommend our guests to sign bicycle insurance before starting their trip, as the value of bicycles brought with them can exceed the statutory cap.

BIKING AND HIKING TRAILS
Take part in free guided bike tours or explore the area on your own! We would be happy to show you some bike routes and hiking trails. At the reception you will find information brochures for the regional cycling and hiking trails. You can purchase cycling maps especially designed for the region for a fee and hiking maps (free of charge) at reception.

The room is available after 2 p.m. on the day of arrival. The hotel services are included from 2 p.m. One outdoor parking space is available per reserved room at the hotel.
CHECK-OUT
Please leave your room at 10:30 a.m. on the day of your departure. Our hotel services end with breakfast. Depending on availability, you can purchase a late check-out. All open bills must be paid at departure. Please make sure to deposit your key card at the reception before leaving! Early pre-checkouts must be arranged on the evening before your departure.
CHILDREN
We have designed our hotel, especially our guest rooms, the sauna world and the pool area with the Tuscan pool garden for guests looking for peace and quietness. We do not offer any special children’s facilities. The minimum age for accommodation is 18 years. Only experienced swimmers are allowed to enter the pool area for safety reasons.
COMPLAINTS
Hopefully do not occur! If this should happen anyway, we ask you to contact the reception to discuss this in a personal conversation, to resolve problems and – most important! – to prevent for the rest of your vacation time!
COMPUTER/INTERNET
You can set up a free high-speed WIFI Internet connection in your rooms via “TOSCANINA”.
COVID-19 Preventive Actions
- We ensure your safety and of course strictly adhere to all hygiene standards.
- Please keep a distance of 1 meter from all other guests.
- Please wash your hands frequently.
- Please wait at the entrance to the breakfast room for our staff to accompany you to your breakfast table.
- Before each self-service at the breakfast buffet, disinfect your hands at the disinfection dispensers.
- The entire sauna operation is out of order during the applicable Covid-19 measures.
- You can use the fitness room during the permitted times. Please keep the minimum distance of 2m to other people during training.

ELECTRICAL SHUTTERS
You can darken the room with an electric shutter. To do this, simply press the large upper rocker switch on the wall next to the balcony door handle with a longer press on the lower half of the switch. The roller blind closes fully automatically. To stop the roller blind in any semi-closed position, briefly press the switch again. For automatic opening, press the upper half of the rocker switch.
ELECTRICITY
You will find a central toggle power switch, labeled “EIN – AUS” besides your room’s entrance. There you can conveniently switch off all the lights, upon leaving the room by pressing “AUS”.
EMERGENCY
Please read the fire prevention instructions on the inside of your door carefully and follow the regulations in case of emergency. In addition to the well-known emergency numbers for the fire brigade (122), police (133) and ambulance (144) as well as the medical emergency service (141), poisoning center (+43 1 40643430), you can contact us at any time for emergency reason only under +43 664 88872233! We are here to help!
ENVIRONMENT
We have set up an environmental protection program to ensure the reasonable use of our resources. For the sake of the environment, we kindly ask you to act an environmentally friendly manner during your stay in the hotel, especially when handling hand and bath towels, water, air conditioning, heating and electricity.

But you will find a freely accessible refrigerator with sufficient cooling capacity in the basement located underneath the reception at your disposal. We also serve drinks during reception hours in the reception lounge, in the sauna and by the pool area.

A well-equipped fitness room is located in the basement. It features modern cardio fitness equipment consisting of a rowing machine and cross trainer and a top Technogym power park.

HEATER
Please set the rotary thermostats located directly on the radiators at your request in order to adjust the room temperature. The temperature control next to the room entrance regulates the air conditioning and is only activated during the hot season.

The Parktherme Bad Radkersburg – the thermal baths of movement – is only a 300m walk from the hotel. Relax there during a couple of hours. KEY & LOCK SYSTEM
In addition to your room entrance door, your key card also unlocks the main and side entrance doors as well as the door to the bicycle cellar. You should therefore take your key card with you whenever you leave the hotel. The hotel is automatically locked for security reasons from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.. Please take good care of the key card and hand it in at reception before you leave! The door opener to the main entrance is to the left of the entrance door at the beginning of the ramp in the outer facade. Please wait until the lock has opened completely (when you hear a beep!) Before opening the door!

LIABILITY
In the event of damage to or ground, the building or inventory, the damage incurred must be compensated by the person responsible with reference to the general terms and conditions. Theft and willful damage to property will be reported immediately. Please keep cash, securities and other valuables in the room safe. The instructions for use are located on the inside of the safe. We would like to emphasize that in accordance with the General Terms and Conditions for the hotel industry and §§ 970 ff ABGB we are only liable for an amount of up to a maximum of EUR 550.00.

MAIN ENTRANCE DOOR
For security reasons, our house entrance doors are secured with an automatic lock during night between 7 p.m. and 7 a.m. Please take your key card always with you when leaving the hotel! Because this always opens the main entrance, side entrance and bicycle cellar door for you. In order to open the main entrance during night, find the door opener on the left side of the entrance door. It is located at the beginning of the ramp in the outer facade. Please wait until the lock has opened completely (when you hear a beep!) before pulling the door-handle!

POOL & SAUNA
The 15m x 4m fresh water pool with loungers and parasols is located in the Mediterranean garden. Depending on weather conditions, we operate the pool from May to September between 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Please note that the use of the pool and pool area is only permitted for experienced swimmers aged 18 and above, and only to registered overnight stay guests in the Hotel Toscanina. Please pay respect to the other guests regarding volume and behavior. Glass or ceramics are strictly prohibited in the sauna as well as in the entire pool and lounging area due to the risk of injury (cuts from broken glass). Parents take liability for their children or minors at all times.

The guests of the Hotel Toscanina expect appropriate and respectful behavior and clothing with respect to all other guests and employees. It is not desirable to stay in swimwear in the public areas. The smoking ban applies to the entire hotel. Please refrain from using electronic devices with sound.

The reception is covered between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. during the day, we do not have a night porter. You will find an emergency contact number for this time on the back of your key card or at reception.

ROOM
If your room is locked to our cleaning staff with the “do not disturb” button on the inside of your room door for longer than 1 p.m., the room will not be cleaned for that day. Sports equipment of all kinds may not be taken into the room but should be kept in the rooms provided for this purpose (bicycle cellar). We have a 220V power connection. We ask you to report any complaints in the room to reception immediately.

SAFETY BOX
A safety box is available free of charge for your valuables. The operating instructions can be found next to / on the box. If you have any questions or problems using it, please contact the reception. We would like to emphasize that in accordance with the general terms and conditions for the hotel industry and §§ 970 ff ABGB we are only liable for a maximum amount of up to € 550.
SAUNA WORLD
Our sauna area with a Finnish sauna (approx. 84 ° C), bio sauna (sanarium, approx. 52 ° C), steam bath (approx. 46 ° C), infrared cabin and a large relaxation area is located in the basement. We operate the sauna daily from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. and ask that you register in advance if you want to use the sauna, as for environmental reasons we only operate the saunas when they are actually used. The use is permitted only to registered overnight guests of the Hotel Toscanina from the age of 18.
SAUNA RULES
The sauna area is a hygiene area and as such can only be entered with bathing shoes or slippers. The sauna area is free of cloths! The sauna rules are posted in the sauna and have to be followed by all users for safety and health reasons.
- In particular, scented oils brought along may not be used at all!
- Take a shower before using the sauna.
- Enter the saunas only in dry condition.
- In the sauna cabins, towels must be used as a seat pad during the sauna session. Follow the Rule: “No sweat on the wood!”
- If you haven’t brought any towels or sauna towels with you, you can rent them at reception for a cleaning fee.
- The relaxation room is a dry area. Water on the wooden style tiles causes severe slipping danger.
- Please pay respect regarding volume and behavior towards other pool and sauna guests.
- Glass or glass containers are strictly prohibited in the sauna area as well as in the entire pool area because of the risk of injury (cuts from broken glass and broken glass).
- Parents assume responsibility for their children or minors.

SMOKING
Hotel Toscanina is operated as a non-smoking house in the entire interior. Smoking in the rooms (including bathroom and toilet) or in the entire interior of the hotel (in the special basement corridor, sauna world and bicycle storage room) is prohibited. Non-compliance to observe this rule will be charged to the guest with special cleaning costs. The lighting of candles, open flames and other combustibles is not permitted anywhere in the house or in the rooms. Hotel Toscanina is equipped with a central fire alarm system for your safety. The triggering caused by guests and the resulting fire service will be billed to the triggering guest. Nevertheless, smokers shall also feel comfortable with us. Ashtrays are provided on each balcony. At the main and side entrance you will find a covered smoking island with an ashtray.

The accomodation of external visitors in the rooms is only permitted in exceptional cases and with the consent of the management. Visits are welcome in the public spaces such as the entrance area, but not in the hotel rooms or in the wellness area (sauna world, pool area). The use of the hotel’s own services and facilities such as Sauna or pool area is only permitted for registered, paying guests. If you would like to have breakfast together with your visit, please report this to reception the day before.
